First Exhibition…

In 2024, I took the brave decision to approach a gallery in my local town Garden House Gallery. What could possibly go wrong? It’s either a yes or pack up your things and try elsewhere. To my surprise, the gallery owner was quite enthusiastic to show my work. Back then, acrylic was my confident choice of medium with some oil paintings but surprisingly most pieces sold. Having a successful first exhibition blew away the ‘imposter syndrome’ cobwebs and for the first time, I had a glimpse of becoming a professional artist.
